Kyoto Ghost Tour

Dark tales, urban legends & the bamboo forest after everyone else has gone home.

2 hours 30 min Starts: Saga-Arashiyama Station Ages 16–65 English from ¥6,777 per person Dark Triangle · ①

The Night

By day, Arashiyama's bamboo grove is the most photographed place in Kyoto. By night it is something else entirely — a corridor of black stalks that creak against each other in the dark, and the reason this tour exists.

We start at Saga-Arashiyama Station and walk into the forest as the last light dies. Through the glowing Kimono Forest, past shrines that stay lit for reasons nobody advertises, across the moonlit Togetsukyo Bridge over the Katsura River — while your guide tells the legends, the true crimes and the ghost stories that belong to these exact places.
